2022 Resident Artists
Amanda Lyon
Andres Garcia
The self-taught artist works in different mediums with a passion for realism, pop culture, and abstract art. Inspired by his grandmother, he was mentored by fellow artist EJ Nieves at the MAX during the peak of the Covid Pandemic.
"In the future, I see myself learning different styles of art and teaching what I have learned to the next generation. Guidance to what you can do with your creativity is something I wish I had growing up here in Ocala, and I plan on doing that for the future Artists of Ocala. My inspiration to be an artist comes from the motivation of my family. They are the main reason why I love doing what I do." |
