Four ways to work with MAX

01 Pieces, à la carte One wall, or the gaps between what you already own. Browse the work artists have offered, ask for what you like, and swap it whenever you fancy a change. Each loan runs a month at a time and renews by itself.
02 A curated exhibit A whole show in your space. Give a theme and let MAX's curator choose, pick every piece yourself, or shortlist a few and let the curator finish it and decide the hang.
03 An opening reception An opening night at your venue, co-hosted with MAX. We bring the artists and our audience; you bring the room. Promoted through the MAX program and your own channels.
04 An artist or curator talk Somebody to stand up and talk about the work — an artist on their own practice, or the curator on the show as a whole. Half an hour, on its own or as part of an opening.

How it works

  1. Tell us about your space

    A wall, a lobby, a whole dining room. Press Start a conversation, tell us about it, and we will talk it through. There is one short agreement to sign, once, when your account opens.

  2. Get your own portal

    Your business gets an account: browse every piece on offer, request what you want, and watch where each one is. It is the same system MAX's artists use.

  3. MAX delivers and hangs it

    We collect the work from the artists, bring it to you and put it up. You confirm it arrived with one tap.

  4. Keep it as long as you like

    A loan runs a month at a time and renews by itself. When you want a change, press a button and MAX comes and collects it.

The fine print, in plain words

What to expect

The work is for sale Everything on your wall can be bought by whoever sees it. If a piece sells while it is with you, it stays until the end of that month's term — then MAX collects it and brings you something else.
Artists can ask for a piece back Occasionally an artist needs a piece back for a show of their own. They give you to the end of the month's term, and you pick a replacement from the gallery — MAX brings it on the same visit it collects the old one. You are never left with a gap.
Your walls, your call Nothing arrives that you did not ask for, and nothing stays longer than you want it to. Every request, date and message lives in your portal, so nobody is digging through email.
